Mitch Vicieux - Artist Activist

Let's give a warm welcome to Mitch Vicieux, an incoming MFA student at Ohio State.  Hailing from Maryland, Mitch is pursuing a degree in Visual Arts and Art & Technology.  Keep an eye on this one, we've got a feeling they've got big things coming (seriously, check out their animations).  Mitch is one of the queer artists exhibiting at YAM's upcoming pop-up, Beers, Queers & Art.  Here's a lil sneak peak at what Mitch can bring to the table.  Check out their website for more, you won't be disappointed.

Mitch Vicieux is an artist-activist who uses art to raise awareness about inequality.  From installations to zines to documentary work, Mitch explores the civil rights issues plaguing contemporary American culture through a variety of socially-engaged artistic endeavors.
